Soraya is a beautifully bred black Friesian B Book filly out of Kismet. By DIRK (IMP), this
gorgeous filly embodies all that you would expect of this high-quality pairing. Soraya is one of
the first fillies to hit the ground in Australia by this new and exciting stallion Dirk, imported
from the Netherlands by Katrina Roustin from Terrorssa stud. We all expect Dirk to follow in
Bastiaans footsteps as he is campaigned up through the levels. Soraya demonstrates beautiful
cadence and looseness with natural balance and athleticism in all three gaits. A feature of this
filly is her excellent confirmation, presence and movement which is very eye catching. She has
a beautiful and kind temperament and lovely expressive face. Soraya adapts easily to new
situations and like her paddock sisters, is VERY easy to have around.
Soraya, named after the Pleiades star cluster in Arabic, has had regular hoof trims, worming,
body work and handling. She has been trained to tie up, stable, load, rug, wash, lunge and has
been reared in a small herd on natural pasture and herbs.
Now being started under saddle.
