An extra special thanks for the opportunity to attend the José Mendez clinic on Saturday, albeit as a spectator (with my hubby Ian).
It was such a privilege and delight, to witness the gifted José in person, as he weaved such special magic with each and every participant. His understanding of horse and rider, his talent of seeing the beauty in every horse, and then tweaking a training aid here and there to bring out the best for both horse and rider is just astonishing. I felt I learnt more from the ground in one day as a spectator, than many lessons I’ve had in the saddle elsewhere…and to think it was here locally in Bathurst too!
Then, to see José on board Ann-Maree’s stallion, was a spine-tingling highlight!
Cath, your equestrian facilities are amazing. You must be so proud of what you’ve built and achieved. Thank you again, for the opportunity of being there on Saturday. I look forward to the possibility of future events at your stunning Winterwood Farm.
